The Compact is the long-standing agreement that sets out shared commitments and guidelines for partnership working between government and the third sector. Compact Week is an annual campaign to promote the Compact and engage Local Compact partners, Government Departments and public sector bodies.
This year’s Compact Week takes place from Monday 1 to Sunday 7 November 2010.
This is the sixth year that Compact Week has taken place and the campaign is led by the Commission for the Compact with input from Compact Voice, the Office for Civil Society and the Local Government Association (LGA).
Various events and activities take place across England throughout the week. This year's theme is "New challenges, new opportunities".
