Compact Next Steps

Descripion: On Monday 2 November 2009 there will be the launch of the Compact Next Steps Group, a new steering group, signed Compact partners have been urged to look for more positive ways of ensuring the Compact has a higher profile and more impact in Peterborough.

PCVS staff will be hosting a drop in session on Tuesday 3 November for voluntary groups to come and find out more about the Compact, how they can use it and sign up to the agreement.

On Thursday 5 November and Friday 6 November 2009, PCVS will be facilitating a Compact awareness training day for NHS Peterborough and Peterborough City Council.

Sarah Fletcher, Assistant General Secretary for PCVS, said: “Compact Week is a fantastic opportunity to attract new groups and organisations to the Compact. We have offered a range of ideas to our signed Compact partners to ensure their staff know what being Compact compliant is and how to work as a Compact partner.”
